What this is
A county team, a real project, and the skills to make change in your community.
Lead where you live.
Every town has people who care about where they live and want to make things better. Sometimes all it takes is a team, a shared plan, and the space to get to work.
People Ready Communities (PRC) is Brushy Fork’s free leadership program that brings local neighbors together to tackle a project their community needs.
Working as a county team, you pick the local priority, build practical leadership skills, and see a community project through from idea to finish.
If you are curious about joining an upcoming cohort or want to bring a team together in your county, this free half-hour info session/office hours will walk you through how it works.
Who Should Join
This program is open to anyone age 15 and up. That includes high school and college students, retirees, business owners, nonprofit staff, local organizers, and first-time volunteers. You do not need a formal leadership title or a finished project plan. If you care about your community and want to make a difference close to home, this is for you.
